Assumption of Risk: I recognize that participating in a 5K run/walk involves inherent risks, including but not limited to, personal injury, accidents, and health issues (e.g., heat exhaustion, dehydration, etc.). I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation in this event.
Health and Safety : I confirm that I am physically fit and capable of participating in the 5K event. I understand it is my responsibility to seek medical advice if I am unsure of my physical ability to participate. I agree to stop and seek medical attention if I experience any adverse symptoms during the event.
Release of Liability: In consideration of my participation, I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, executors, and assigns, release and discharge Ascend Leadership Academy, its volunteers, sponsors, affiliates, and anyone associated with the organization or execution of the event, from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or actions related to any loss, injury, or harm (including death) that may occur before, during, or after the event, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
Compliance with Rules: I agree to follow all event instructions, adhere to the route, and obey traffic laws. I understand that failure to comply with the event rules may result in my disqualification or removal from the event.
Media Release: I give Ascend Leadership Academy permission to use any photographs, video recordings, or other media of me captured during the event for promotional purposes without compensation.
